Honda Joins Competitors to Make More Fuel Efficient Cars

In the race to make better and more efficient vehicles, lower CO2 emissions and keep the price of filling a gas tank down, Honda and many of its Japanese competitors are joining forces. Honda is being joined by Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, and Daihatsu to improve the fuel economy of both gas and diesel engines by up to 30 percent by 2020. (more…)

While it won’t be receiving much in the way of redesigns for a while, the 2015 Honda Pilot near Denver, CO will be getting a brand new Special Edition trim for the new model year, bringing the total number of trims for the vehicle up to five. The Special Edition trim is slotted between the EX and EX-L models. Available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive versions, this new trim comes with Pewter Gray aluminum wheels, special SE badging, a one-touch-open power moonroof, a rear seat entertainment DVD system and Sirius XM radio. These features are added to the standard features that are found in all trims, including remote entry, a Class III trailer hitch and a rearview camera. (more…)

Honda’s Speed Patrol is citing for slowness

The Honda Speed Patrol is back at it again. After releasing the first video posted above, Honda released a follow up last month with the video posted below to continue informing people about the Fastest Seat in Sports with Mario Andretti. To help promote the contest, Andretti and others dressed as citation offers called the Speed Patrol have been seen walking around cities giving people citations for things like excessive slowness and exerting unconscionable leisure. It’s fun to watch Andretti stopping people and explaining to them how they were far too slow. (more…)
