New Appearance and Features
Changes are coming for the midsize sedan from Honda. The 2016 Honda Accord in Denver, CO is coming with a new look, some updated features and a bump in fuel efficiency. The newly available features for the Honda Accord offer drivers more options for convenience and comfort, giving Accord drivers a more upscale experience than in years past. Drivers looking for more performance will also appreciate the newly available Touring trim for the coupe version of the sedan.
The interior offers two big changes in comfort features that drivers should get excited about. The main one is the new available feature, the heated rear seats. The Accord has offered front heated seats for awhile now, but now everyone in the car can enjoy the comforts of a warm leather seat. The other change is the 60/40 split folding rear seat that will make the interior much more flexible than it has been in the past. More interesting than comfort, is the addition of a 7-inch audio display that comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, offering new ways for drivers to connect their phones.View Inventory
Accord Engines, Efficiency and Safety
The Accord is coming back with the same engine options as the year before, the 2.4-liter four-cylinder and 3.5-liter V6. The first of these two options offers drivers 185 horsepower and 181 pound feet of torque. Thanks to a lighter, sculpted hood and low-friction features the fuel economy has increased. The four-cylinder now offers 27 city/37 highway mpg, an increase of 1 mpg highway from last year. The V6 offers even more power with 278 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque and remains at the same level of efficiency at 21 city and 34 highway.
Along with the already incredibly helpful features like Honda LaneWatch, forward collision warning and lane departure warning, the Accord is adding parking sensors and rain-sensing wipers to help you see what’s around you and more easily focus on the road as conditions change.
